Dinosaur Daze – Community-wide event to promote tourism and publicize the rich fossil heritage of the region. Tours of locally-collected dinosaur fossils, fun and educational activities for children.

This past year's events included games for kids, presentations on Dinosaurs, Fort Dilts, and the Custer Trail, a Dinosaur Egg Treasure Hunt, Duck Races on the Little Missouri. an all-day rummage sale, flea market, and craft sale. Join us next year for another great celebration!

Cowboy Poets – Poets from three states perform at the Mystic Theatre every year. Hosted by the Marmarth Historical Society. 

The 2002 Cowboy Poets weekend included poetry reading by Bill Lohman, Jess Howard, Bob Peterman, Sons of the Wagoneers, John Crabtree, D.W. Groethe, Ann Secrest Hanson, Polly Vandervorst, Jody Strand, and others.

Independence Day Rodeo and Parade – The Little Missouri Saddle Club holds an annual rodeo, attracting cowboys and spectators from miles around. Games, contests, and a parade are sponsored by the Marmarth Community Club.

December

Santa Claus Day – first Saturday in December. Games, food, caroling, drawings, flea market, tree-decorating contest, and of course, Santa!
